Adding a controller to a project

When the project is created, the first thing to do is to add controllers to it.

Attention! If you use the cloud server Enterprise or Personal, make sure that the controller is registered before adding it to the project! How to do it is described in the documentation: Controller registration.

The controller is connected to the smart home server, however, it is not used anywhere yet. Let's go to the first tab Projects and add the first project.

Let this be the climate controller. After adding the project, click on the Connect button and the list of all controllers of the project will open. Then click on the Add button.

In the window that appears, specify the conditional name of the controller, its IP address in the local network, in our example 192.168.88.150. If you are using a local server, you do not need to fill in the router field, and if you are using a cloud server, select the appropriate router. If everything was done correctly, the path field will be displayed in green with the full address of the controller through the VPN tunnel. Click Save and the firstborn appears in our list of controllers.

To check the connection to it, click on the Controller Service button. The window that opens should display the first basic information about it.

This completes the connection to the server and you can proceed to the project settings and setting automatic modes of operation.
